Week Two

Every day is a good day!!!

Well been at this New Lifestyle for a total of 14 days now. So far so good, have not had much of problem with the transition. Decided that the name of my new diet is My "Crash" Diet. Let me explain, I decide to do this diet because a good friend of mine did so well using this diet and introduced me to the book he had read, Preventing and Reversing Heart Disease. His nickname is Crash, so it is named after him.

I guess you could say I cheated a little last week, my very supportive husband, John, had a birthday last Monday and I had a piece of cake with him. And some one was so very nice to send a box of Godiva Chocolates to our office, and come on it was Godiva Chocolates, what woman can resist Godiva Chocolates, not this one!!!

I am enjoying all the new recipes I am making. I love my black bean burgers!!! and portabello mushroom caps "fried" in barbecue sauce are yummy...

If you get a chance to read the book, do.

Have a Wonderful Week!!!
Take Care
God Bless

Week One

Hello
Been one week since I started my new lifestyle. Has been pretty good. Did not have much trouble making the transition. I made up my mind this is what I needed to do to keep healthy and live to see my great grandchildren.
I ate good and really enjoyed all the recipes I made. See my recipe page for the delicious meals I made.
On my progress page you can follow me on my quest to loose 55lbs. by July 1, 2014. My weekly goal is 3lbs a week for the first 10 weeks. I am in a "Lard Off" contest in work and would like to win the prize money.
I also exercise every day. Nothing strenuous, I use my Wii. Wii Fit Plus and Golds Gym Cardio
Boxing. I also do 100 sit ups on my Ab Rocket.

See you soon
